This accolade has massively improved the exposure of cities awarded with this title, not only arousing massive public awareness, but assisting in the development of the region economically.
Both Liverpool and Glasgow have seen huge infrastructure improvement that complemented and assisted both places immeasurably.
Istanbul will be no exception and I will look forward to joining in with the celebrations!
